Overton Academy is a premier early childhood education center dedicated to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment for young learners. Founded by Inglish Cooke, a former school district professional and parent of a child with special needs, our academy was established to meet the growing demand for specialized education and support services for children, particularly those with unique learning and developmental needs. Located in Uniondale, NY, we proudly serve surrounding communities including West Hempstead, Hempstead, Roosevelt, Malverne, and Lakeview.
Our comprehensive programs include early childhood education for toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten, as well as after-school care, summer camps, and specialized services for children with special needs. We offer dual-language instruction, tutoring, enrichment activities, and social-emotional learning, all designed to foster academic achievement and personal growth. Our team of NY State-certified teachers, special education advocates, and dedicated staff work collaboratively with parents to create tailored educational plans that ensure each child’s success.
