Overton Academy is a premier learning center serving children ages 2–12, with two convenient locations in Uniondale and West Hempstead, NY. We proudly serve families throughout Nassau County and Suffolk County by providing a safe, nurturing, and academically enriching environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn.
Founded by Inglish Cooke, a former school district professional and parent advocate for children in special education, Overton Academy was built with a deep understanding of what families need most: quality care, strong communication, personalized support, and a learning environment that helps every child grow with confidence.
Our programs are designed to support children at every stage of development, including early childhood learning, summer camp, and after-school programs. We focus on academic excellence, school readiness, social development, creativity, and independence. Our students are introduced to kindergarten and 1st-grade level work early, and by age 4, many of our students are already reading and writing.
